We are updating our sample albums, and so check it out: the latest album from Leather Craftsmen just arrived and it’s beautiful! Hands down, albums are the best way to display wedding pictures.
We are Alison and Adm, and together, we photograph weddings.
You won’t find us directing shots, telling you what to do or where to look. But when you look at your pictures, at real moments, all the emotions from your wedding will come back to you, and really, wouldn’t that be the best way to re-live and share some of your favorite memories?
You'll be drawn to our work because of the moments and the stories. As trained photojournalists (we met in a newsroom), we use our sneaky photo ninja skills, combined with our love of art and design, to creatively document weddings as they naturally unfold. You’ll barely notice that we’re there.
Here’s a little bit more about us: we are both California natives. Alison is from LA and Adm grew up in a tiny town outside Yosemite, and we’ve loved living in Oakland for almost five years. Alison religiously listens to “This American Life” and loves to cook. Our weekly CSA veggie box is one of her favorite things. She also loves party dresses and bright colors, especially when they’re all mixed together. Adm, on the other hand, loves wearing jeans and black tees and road biking through the East Bay hills. We both love our dog Kiki, a rescue Shiba who enjoys a plush life bossing us around.
We are so excited that you’re checking us out and we would love to learn more about you! After all, it’s pretty important to make sure we get along if we’re going to spend one of the most important days of your life by your side.

We finally received our new pricing and services booklets, and I wanted to share a few pictures of them! Emma designed these for prospective clients as a way to showcase our work and the services we offer. They were printed at Brandes in Berkeley (all on recycled paper and with soy-based inks) and sewn together...

Remember how I shared pretty much all of my collateral the other week during our “Identity Series?” The only missing piece was my DVD case, and with Margee and Kate’s recent engagement shoot, I got the opportunity to finally implement our new design! So, here it is. I love the way the flower frames the...

How many times do you receive business cards and put them in your pocket only to find them crumpled and completely chewed up in the washing machine? Well, that’s happened to me so many times I’ve lost count. I am notorious for forgetting to empty my pockets before doing laundry. So, then, what’s the point...

For this week, I’m going to blog about the process of creating an identity. I found the process fascinating and fun, and so hopefully it will help some of you all out there who are thinking about or getting ready to embark on this same journey. When Adm and I first started the wedding business,...
