There are so many amazing things about this wedding – the wildlife, the scenery, the food, the music, the people (guests and other vendors) – that it’s hard to know where to start, but ultimately, it all comes back to the couple, Reba and Andy. When I scouted with Reba a couple of weeks before their wedding, the sun was out and shining and it was warm. On the day of their wedding, it was cold and windy with rain showers that got progressively heavier. No matter, Reba and Andy completely took everything in stride and that set the tone for an amazing night.
These two have been engaged for four years, and after moving out to California on somewhat of a whim earlier this year, they decided to marry in the Marin Headlands. Almost all of their guests flew in from other parts of the country to celebrate with Reba and Andy, and you could feel the warmth and joy everyone held for these two people throughout the whole night, despite the rainy cold. Adm and I thoroughly enjoyed working with these two, and we had an absolute blast during their portrait session where we photographed them in an old military battery that we discovered on the day of the wedding. Luckily, we did all of their portraits before the ceremony when the rain was only threatening and we had lots of time as I could’ve photographed these two in the battery for hours. Needless to say, the portraits of Reba and Andy are a little heavy in this post. : )
